You are off to a stellar start to the New Year, Capricorn. Thanks to a four planet stellium in your sign. Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars. The year opens and closes on an unusual note for you. The first full moon on the year is a supermoon in Cancer and your 7^th on Jan 3. The final full moon of the year on Dec 24 – another supermoon in Cancer!

The January 3 supermoon opposes Mars in your sign. A moment of clear decision making or call to action. Mars is not planet that is ambivalent, feeling so-so or content to settle. It is also about action. This is intense Cardinal sign energy. Mars rules Cardinal Aries. In your own sign which is Cardinal Earth. The supermoon is in its ruling sign of Cardinal Cancer. A feeling builds. You have to act on it. And set the energy in motion which carries you through the year – all the way to the supermoon of Dec 24.

Saturn and Neptune in Aries: Give Me Shelter

You may have spent what felt like decades polishing those ideas to diamond bright brilliance. And also creating a sense of peace and stability. You will want to protect and maintain that as ruler Saturn (Feb 14) and Neptune (Jan 26), make their final move out of Pisces and your 3^rd and take up permanent residence in Aries and your 4^th. But also launch, talk, showcase or share what you have learned. Which will become the foundation for this all-important next cycle.

Peace on the home front, stability, certainty, shelter, protection – for you, your loved ones and yes, even your ideas, will become your prime focus for years to come. Yes, of course it chimes perfectly with your Capricorn nature which is to commit and establish. Do check your birth chart for any factors at 0 degrees. In any sign/house but especially your own sign or one of your fellow Cardinal signs – Aries, Cancer, Libra. If you have anything – this includes asteroids, ASC/DSC and IC/MC as well as the Nodes, then the meeting between Saturn and Neptune on Feb 20 at 0^o of Aries, will result in a profound and permanent move. But all Capricorns will see the end of one cycle of living and the start of a new homecoming one.

It will be both profound and grounding. You find your place, your niche, your sense of belonging. This can be within a community as well as an actual physical home. This is a once-in-a-lifetime conjunction which has never occurred before in Aries and this sector of your chart. 0^o Aries is the most powerful degree of the zodiac. Especially for Cardinal signs. Why? Because it is the first degree of the zodiac in the 360^o chart. It is the point of birth and new beginnings. This is why this Saturn/Neptune conjunction marks the end of one era. You may choose to send those roots deeper. Or pull them up entirely. You will recognise any toxic patterns in your past. And consciously move away and out of them. Uranus in Gemini: Mister Blue Sky Thinking

Others may relocate because their job is changing. Or part of their Harmony, Peace, Shelter goals involves a new environment and that all important work/life balance. This may not necessarily mean Escape to the Country. It’s not for everyone. Being in sync with life and feeling that sense of peace can be found in the city for some. Especially when it comes to being connected to like-minded souls. What has stunted your growth, that hamster wheel job, roadblocks and ruts you may have fallen into – all will be demolished and your set free as Uranus returns to Gemini and your 6^th on April 26.

No more settling for a less than ordinary existence, Capricorn. No, you are not abandoning your capacity to commit to that long term path and delayed gratification. But what you are prioritising is that work/life balance and the kind of self-care that involves living in both harmony and freedom on a daily basis. If that requires you to look at what is keeping you stuck, paralysed or chained to that treadmill, Uranus hands you radical new ideas and innovative thinking. Don’t hide them away. No more dead ends or detours which take you nowhere fast.

You may radically reframe those habits and that daily schedule. When it comes to your work – whether paid or unpaid, you’ll come up with new ways to handle that workload. Or opt for an entirely new way of working. Because Uranus is in the sign of communication and ideas, expect a revolution around the technology and appliances which can help you accomplish this. From apps to domestic appliances. These may offer you the radical freedom you crave. And also hand you the time for what it is you want to do as opposed to what you have to do.

If you are seeking work, you may find yourself doing a very different job to the kind you have performed in the past. Do look to how your skills and experience can be utilised in different areas. And craft that CV accordingly. Uranus rules inventors and entrepreneurs. So, some of you may launch your own business or opt to work from home. Again, this may fuel that decision to move. Do however avoid launching or applying for anything new during your yearly partnership peak if you can. You may also want to pause any moving decisions as well as looking for a romantic partner after June 9 which brings you one of the best days of the year for romance, unions and agreements when Venus meets Jupiter in Cancer. But from June 14 until Aug 7 we have Mercury retrograde in your 7^th. Either in pre, full fat or post retroshade. The new supermoon in Cancer on June 29 squares Neptune. This is something that looks like it will happen – and then may not.

Mister Blue Sky Uranus rules electricity. Think of your body’s electric current or electro-magnetic field. Uranus in your 6^th highlights health matters. Your body’s energy levels. Do tune in to its signals. And what makes you energised and conversely, what drains you. Ignoring these could lead to a sudden health crisis or you simply hitting that wall. Whatever you do, don’t see slow down signals as annoying. They are designed to ensure you maintain that healthy balance needed to get to your goals. And to seek medical advice for anything that persists or stops you in your tracks. That goes without saying, Capricorn.

Understand that when we refuse to make the changes we need to, Uranus is the planet which steps in and makes them for us. It can close off a path we are on that is leading nowhere suddenly and without warning. In order to force us into that blue sky mindset where our only option is to explore something radically new and different. Jupiter in Leo – Your Summer of Love Revival

Welcome to the Summer of Love revival, Capricorn. If you want to go tripping back to the past – to the original Summer of Love of ‘67, when hundreds of thousands of people converged on San Francisco’s Haight-Ashbury district and Golden Gate Park as part of counter-culture movement that had been brewing for several years. It exploded at this point with music, hippie culture and demonstrations. Jupiter’s move into Leo and your 8^th – what many astrologers are calling ‘The Summer of Love’ – evokes these kinds of revolutionary feelings within you.

You may not go to San Francisco and wear flowers in your hair, as the song tells us. But you will recapture an essence of the era and use it to transform a key area of your life or even your relationships. The original Summer of Love was very much focussed on peace – especially with the end of the Viet Nam war which was raging at that time. And we’ve discussed your need for peace, harmony and protection with the move of ruler Saturn and Neptune into your 4^th. Jupiter’s arrival in Leo and your 8^th, will see it make beautiful, peace and love angles of transformation to both Saturn and Neptune

Just like the original, your Summer of Love changes may have been brewing silently in the background for some time. Or else are the result of Jupiter’s big loving boost to partnerships during its transit of Cancer and your 7^th. Look back to the start of the year and your birthday cycle. Your Capricorn stellium not only brought you superb fusions between the planets in your sign – especially the Venus/Mars conjunction of Jan 8. But also saw the Sun and other planets oppose Jupiter in your 7^th across Jan 9 -14. What began then, especially around the time of your personal new Moon on Jan 18, could be directly linked to the changes your Summer of Love ushers in.

Jupiter enters Leo on June 30 – right in the middle of your yearly partnership peak. Keep in mind what I said about Mercury retro at this time. This is about an existing union and where it can take you next. Or even you being happy and content to be travelling solo right now.

This isn’t just about one season however. Jupiter will remain in this house for 12 months. Bringing you an endless summer experience. After the retrograde is over, singles could link to that person who acts as a catalyst for change. ‘Alchemy’ is part of your endless summer vibe. It was never about turning base metal into gold, Capricorn. Ancient alchemy is about turning your soul into that. And your could attract in someone who sets this process in motion.

Your resources should also now abundantly increase. See this as alchemy as well. In your intimate life – you and your partner explore new horizons together. Your money especially joint income and finances – you pool these with your partner. Especially when it comes to those all important home and foundation needs. You get a better paying job, a raise, a mortgage. Or someone who has the resources you need – connections, knowledge and anything from a vehicle to a horse, places it at your disposal. You are set to gain in some way thanks to other people.

Jupiter rules travel and yes, if San Francisco or any far-flung destination is calling you, you should find that Jupiter hands you the means to go there. Flowers in your hair optional.

North Node in Aquarius, South Node in Leo: Ka-ching Karma

Follow the money or your money karma this year. Pluto has now settled into cosmic banker mode in Aquarius and your 2^nd house. A power move which is designed to put you in control of your cash, cosmic flow and yes, that all important self-worth.

We all have karma with money. Don’t see it as folding stuff, a sum on that bank statement or simply what you have or earn. And don’t see it as simply those stocks and shares rising and falling on the world’s markets either. Although the image of the stock market ticker is actually the closest visual representation of what money actually is. Money is simply energy. We are energy. Everything in the universe is energy. Karma is energy. Energy vibrates. And we can change this vibration at any time.

Look to your money history this year and what patterns you can see. Just as you would track the value of a company’s shares on the stock market. The highs and lows. And also look very closely at where they may repeat or even how your money karma or history may even repeat that of your parents or ideas you inherited growing up. What is that energy like? Abundant and flowing? Transactional and growing? Or are you in the classic robbing Peter to pay Paul cycle?

What are your fears around not having enough? And what is ‘enough’ for that matter? If you don’t know the sum, you cannot get it. And alternatively, billionaire money karma brings its own set of issues if you believe there is never enough. You are then never satisfied and cannot enjoy it.

This year sees the North Node join Pluto in Aquarius and your 2^nd. And the South Node move into Leo and your 8^th. With Jupiter in here, this is your opportunity to ditch that old money karma. Or else see the right karmic investment in your money relationship pay you forward. In a big way.

With the shift of the Nodes comes a change in the eclipse axis. And the eclipses on the new axis are dates on which you can not only invest that money energy in a new way, but you should also be extremely mindful of the financial or self-worth moves you make.

The first solar eclipse on this axis appear with the new Moon in your 2^nd and the start of the Chinese New Year of the Fire Horse (Feb 17). This is an Annular Solar Eclipse. The kind that creates the classic ‘Ring of Fire’ effect around the Sun we see in many eclipse photos. This can usher in a new source of income for you. Or simply see you identify ideas around money which keep you from real abundance. Because this is your house of values, the sunk cost fallacy may feature. This could be something personal in which you have invested not only money, but something more priceless such as time and love for instance. You may now decide to cut your losses and direct those assets into something more worthwhile.

Do however avoid unnecessary expenditure under this eclipse. And also getting into new financial agreements. Such as taking out a loan, credit card etc. Another word of warning under it: only loan someone money if you can afford to write it off with no hard feelings or loss on your part. No matter what assurances someone may be giving you around their ability to repay you – it may not happen.

The second eclipse on the new axis occurs with the new Moon in Leo on Aug 12. This is in your house of shared assets, joint accounts, loans, benefits, payouts, maintenance payments and investments. This is a Total Solar Eclipse. A complete black out or cover up. You are utterly in the dark. This tells you that financial negotiations need to be completely paused until at least three days after the eclipse. And from at least two days before it occurs. If there is an offer on the table, try to delay it. And do get expert advice on any financial documents before you sign if you cannot delay this. Especially if this has anything to do with a payout or settlement.

Something could have strings attached. If this involves a potential partner – especially a lover, think ‘Golden Handcuffs’. Their energetic relationship to money or even their money karma could become yours. And you may not want this. As in sexually transmitted debt. Ensure before committing to an ‘I do’ in either a personal or business relationship, you know their money history and how they use it. And before you say this isn’t romantic, Capricorn – there is nothing less romantic than a divorce or finding yourself the victim of coercive control.

Pre-nups are your friend but need expert advice and yes, you may need one for that collab or business partnership. Ensure the latter includes that ‘out’ clause and states clearly what will happen if one of you wants to back out.

Eclipses just are. They are neither good nor bad. For some, the door to the vault of enrichment could be swinging open wide now. And if so, this is your money karma responding to that energetic reset.

We have two remaining eclipses on the old nodal axis. These are both Lunar Eclipses. The first is the Total Lunar Eclipse in Virgo and your 9^th on March 3. It makes a highly beneficial angle to Jupiter. So this may see a health or work matter improve or an opportunity or offer appear. This may not be something you anticipated. But it is worth exploring.

The final eclipse which closes off this cycle is the Pisces Partial Lunar Eclipse in your 3^rd on Aug 28. Which opposes Mercury in Virgo and your 9^th. This may be the time when you see you need to get away from it all. Rest, relax and take time off. It is a pause before the next big push, Capricorn. This may also see you initiate that move if you have been uncertain about which direction to go in. Certainly, this will be the eclipse when any feelings of being ‘in limbo’ are released.

Retro Revivals and Career Resets

Venus rules Taurus and your house of romance, creativity, conception, children and attraction. And also fellow Cardinal sign of Libra and your 10^th of career, status and success. So, when Venus retrogrades – which it does across October/November, this is a time of reflection and when you need to stop and look at your progress to date across these areas.

Has what you have created or done brought you the satisfaction and success you hoped for? The effort you have put into this is not in question, Capricorn. You always give your all. And as such, you should expect a return which reflects this. Do you have it? Or alternatively, do you have the assurance at least in your own mind, that this will be your result?

Open ended goals or situationships need to be date-stamped or clarified now. Deadlines need to be set. Or you need to put someone on the spot and ask them where they think this is going. Venus begins its retrograde in Scorpio and your 11^th house on Oct 3. Hence your goals will be a main area of focus. It will then return to its ruling sign of Libra and your 10^th before heading direct once more. And only clear its retroshade in December just before your birthday season begins. You may revive an old goal. Set new ones. Or simply be unafraid to ask for what it is you want. Or have been promised. Time is your most precious asset. You don’t have it to waste.
