Hook, line and sinker? Or have you landed a catch, Leo?!

What has you ‘on the hook’ this October? Or alternatively – have you landed a ‘catch’, Leo? Just watch out for bait and switch tactics at the very start of the month when Mercury in your 3^rd squares Jupiter in your 12^th (1^st). And then opposes Chiron in your 9^th (3^rd). On the one hand October can deliver amazing results for you. Your resourcefulness lands you an outstanding result. And by the very end of the month you see the Law of Attraction multiply your efforts.

On the other hand, if you give in to feeling helpless, powerless, paralysis or thinking that you have to settle for less, you could turn into clickbait or end up losing out. Do keep in mind that if something appears too good to be true – it probably is. Hard sells, love bombers and tales of runs of bad luck which defy belief are areas you need to be mindful of. Resist the desire to ‘rescue’. Especially if this is someone you have not known for very long.

This is more of a caution than how the planets are most likely to play out for you this October. But a series of tense and charged squares can stir up those fears and insecurities. And make you more vulnerable than usual, Leo. Forewarned is forearmed. However, most Leos should see plans reach a stage of perfection – with results to match. And as usual, your key dates will involve your ruler the Sun as well as your astral body of spiritual truth and sensitivity – the Moon.

By now, no matter what age you are, or what stage of life you have arrived at, you will have realised that paying attention to your intuition is your secret superpower. You ignore it at your peril, Leo. If you cast your mind back in time, I am certain you can list numerous occasions when that ‘gut’ feeling proved to be right on the money. Even if you were being told differently at the time. And you should also have a list of all the times you acted on it – and either side-stepped problems or it lead you to an inspired breakthrough. And also what happened when you chose to ignore it completely.

Full Moons and new Moons are times when you need to connect to your truth within. No matter what sign/house the moon is in. This is because the Moon rules Cancer and your 12^th of insight, intuition and inspiration. The full Supermoon in Aries and your 9^th house is one that asks you to draw on what you have previously learned about this. Not ignoring those intuitive nudges. Or red flags if that is what you are alerted to. Especially on this day when Mercury in your 4^th squares Pluto in your 7^th.

Pluto ends its retrograde this month (14^th). And partnership matters pick up their pace. You have officially entered a new cycle of intimacy and self-empowerment now which begins with the opposition between Venus in your 2^nd and the True Node in your 8^th (4^th). And then hands you the ability to control where change can take you on the 11^th when Venus opposes Saturn also in your 8^th. Don’t allow anyone to sow seeds of self-doubt. Especially around what you are picking up on after Neptune re-enters your 8^th on the 22^nd. Again, don’t be ‘hooked’ by gaslighting or attempts to divert you from what you instinctively know is right.

Feeling something’s ‘off’ is also your body’s warning system that you may be in need to self-care. Or else need to address the root cause of a problem rather than simply slapping a Band-Aid on it. As Mercury (6^th) and then your ruler (23^rd) move through Scorpio and your 4^th house. No matter how inconvenient this may be. As you may be pulled in other directions by family demands. But emotional exhaustion is a real possibility. And this may manifest in you becoming antsy and cranky – totally unlike your usual sunny self. Especially on the 20^th when Mercury and Mars meet in your 4^th. Do watch for taking on too much – and not sharing enough about how you really feel. But again, if that intuition is telling you to slow down – heed it.

Hook yourself onto the soaring energy of the high flying Kite, Grand Air Trine and Mystic Rectangle which form on the 14^th. The Mystic Rectangle puts you in what I like to call ‘Pre-Manifestation’ magical mode as it contains the Moon in your sign opposition Pluto. This catches you up with a breeze of optimism and desire to express your ideas. Your thoughts become actual things, events, people or opportunities. Share and talk about them. Or news lands that sets you soaring thanks to Venus in the mix.

You have a clear vision around what you want to create or become. And that includes becoming two if love is what you are seeking to manifest now. This sees you at your most flirtatious and outgoing – not to mention daring. Just ensure you do keep things real and in perspective. Mercury aids in this as it dashes into Sagittarius and your 5^th (29^th). Perhaps bringing you spooky attraction at a distance this Halloween. But do keep in mind it is now in retroshadow (from the 21^st). Don’t be in too much of a rush. And don’t project qualities onto that new partner they may not have!

Your second lunation of the month is the late coming new Moon in Libra and your 3^rd (21^st). Again, this is tied into that pre-manifestation magic I talked about earlier. This is one of the best new Moons of the year for launching projects and plans, application, submissions, writing, speaking and visual communication. As well as updating your social media feed, website, channel etc. One thread of conversation may prove to be game changing. Perhaps IRL which touch on past themes as the new Moon squares Jupiter in your 12^th. You could take a courageous deep dive and air a hidden truth about yourself. Trusting the process or simply trusting yourself clears the way for understanding. And results.

Your ruler the Sun moves into Scorpio and your 4^th on the 23^rd. Bringing a month long focus on home, family and security – emotional and material. Creating a solid foundation for yourself and those you care about will be your priority over the coming month. Just keep in the back of your mind that Mercury’s back-tracking into this house next month may slow down property matters. Think ‘re’ words and yes, as well as renovation and redecoration they do include relocation. But delays, reversals and snafus can occur so factor these in.

Watch as Mercury makes a grounding angle to Jupiter and also Saturn in your 8^th which could open the door to long term stability or a move for you. The Grand Water Trine (28^th), offers up an opportunity to get yourself off the hook when it comes to something that no longer works or keeps you stuck in a place you no longer want to be.

Your imagination takes you down a fresh pathway as Mercury now in your 5^th aligns to Pluto in your 7^th and Uranus in your 11^th across the 28^th – 29^th. This expands your voice, message or your vision for yourself. And can also deliver on those pre-manifestation plans. An idea has you – and even those you share it with, hooked. And now you simply have to run with it. Or yes, you have snagged yourself a golden opportunity. As the ancients tell us: Cast your line into every pool. Where you least expect it – there will be a fish. Could be quite the catch this October, Leo.
