This month has many working parts which add up to a bigger picture when it come to the flow of ideas, information and also people around you. Think of yourself as entering an astral roundabout, Gemini. There are several exits you can take. All pointing in a different planetary direction. You’ll be moving through more than one this month. And if you like, re-entering the system to explore a new one several times as October unfolds. So, put that blinker on and prepare to explore exciting new opportunities and destinations. And no, there are no wrong directions you can take now. Each one you are drawn to has something new to offer you. So – don’t over-think it and simply go with the flow. Especially if just recently, you feel all you’ve been doing is going round in circles as opposed to going somewhere.

October gives you fresh themes to explore around creativity, children, attraction and being seen. As well as offering up destiny driven shifts around friendships and your goals. But whatever course you decide to pursue, chances are romance or pleasure is what you seek. Especially when Venus moves from Virgo and your 4^th house of home and into Libra and your 5^th on the 13^th. Stealing away your main focus from home and security to love and self-expression.

Ruler Mercury begins the month already in Libra and your fabulizing 5^th house. And makes two important direction opening moves on the 1^st and the 3^rd. The 1^st a square to Jupiter in your 2^nd. And on the 3^rd it opposes Chiron in Aries and your 11^th. It’s important not to blow your budget as you go off in search for fun, bliss and yes, making certain all eyes are on you this month, Gemini. They will be and feeling at your best is all part of this energy. Jupiter in our house of finance can see us in an ‘easy come, easy go’ mindset when it comes to spending. But the Mercury/Jupiter square tells you that those indulgences may cost once the bill falls due.

The Mercury opposition to Chiron in your 11^th points to new dynamics in your circle. Or even a radical new path when it comes to goal direction. Especially as we have the upcoming Jupiter/Chiron square on the 23^rd. How this may play out is you no longer trying to fit in. Or being engaged in friendships that are one-sided, unbalanced or where you feel you have to show up as anyone other than your authentic self.

Look also to the full Supermoon in your 11^th on the 7^th. This may actually see you realising you have outgrown something. Or someone. A goal. A group. Or simply feeling the need to be anyone other than who you truly are. This can also impact romantic relationships as the full Moon shines its light back into the house opposite to the one it is in. In this case, your 5^th. Again, don’t be afraid to re-enter that roundabout and choose a new exit marked ‘Authentic’ if needed!

Once Mercury crosses into Scorpio and your 6^th – and especially when it meets Mars in here on the 20^th, this may throw something into sharp relief for you. Especially around those you spend your time with. If a friendship or connection has a negative impact on you – there will be no escaping the truth. Or the consequences of it for that matter. And once the Sun arrives in here on the 23^rd, expect your routine and your wellbeing to become your main priority.

C’mon baby, light my fire! Prepare for an updraft which moves you towards something more breathtaking, expansive and heart-starting mid-month. Venus now in your 5^th forms a Grand Air Trine, Kite and a Mystic Rectangle all on the 14^th. This also links to Uranus in your sign, Pluto in your 9^th as well as the Moon in Leo as part of the Mystic Rectangle. Air feeds fire and fans the flames of love and ideas. This will lift you up out of a stale or stagnant direction. And see you breezing towards something new.

Tensions you may have been experiencing – especially around travel, learning or those big picture plans or big loves, ease. And with Uranus in the mix – expect surprises. Between now and the new Moon in your 5^th (21^st), watch out for fire-starting opportunities and also that individual we might term a ‘firebrand’. They may embody many of the qualities we associate with your opposite sign of Sagittarius. Optimistic, energetic, visionary, free thinking, outgoing, spontaneous, zazzy. They take a big picture, broad-minded approach to what they do. They are people-oriented and gregarious. And once fired up by a vision or what they want to do or achieve, the only thing that can slow them down are small minds. Which certainly isn’t yours, Gemini! Whether they appear as a potential romantic partner, a collaborator, friend or a co-worker, their energy is the breath of fresh air you’ve been waiting for. The new Moon in your 5^th (21^st) is another date to look at who crosses your path, what you attract or for a lucky break or opportunity to stand out in some way. This brings the new Moon in Libra and your 5^th. Which is square Jupiter in your 2^nd house. This is a time for wonderful new beginnings. But because of the square to Jupiter, it asks you keep your expectations realistic. It’s a head in the stars but feet firmly on the ground aspect. Don’t for instance, read more into a situation than what it appears to be. And do watch for others who may exaggerate. Someone may attempt to ‘big’ something up. Anything from that job potential to themselves! Take it that it (or they) are probably exactly what they appear to be and nothing more. And hopefully that is more than enough. If not – be prepared to say no in the knowledge that something better and more fitting will appear as Venus extends your attraction cycle this year.

Apology accepted. Someone may surprise you by saying sorry or offering up an olive branch on the 23^rd when Jupiter squares Chiron in your 11^th. And with Neptune now back in Pisces and your 10^th along with Saturn and the North Node, you’ll know if they truly mean it or not. If so, you’ll be happy to go forward on a fresh footing based on a much better mutual understanding of each other.

With the Sun now in Scorpio and your 6^th, your routine, habits and health related matters require your attention. Do not allow your focus to drift or scatter your energy across too many tasks. We were all mis-sold on ‘multitasking’ but this is now proven to be less effective at getting things done. And this certainly applies to those signs who are Mercury ruled and facing an upcoming retrograde. Yes, it’s mayhem time ahead as your ruler enters pre-shadow in your 6^th from the 21^st.
