You don’t need everything – you need what is right

Happy Solstice birthday, Capricorn!

New cycle, brand new attitude, Capricorn. You will be refining this as December unfolds. Right up until January in fact when the Sun leaves you. But attitude for you will be everything. And cementing this determine not just how you see yourself, but how others see you.

The energy of the month builds quietly. Like that slumbering tiger or a tidal wave. The start of the month has you delving deeper into what literally does you good – and what doesn’t. From that routine to those habits and thoughts. All the way to those connections. How your body keeps the score and your energy levels. Your subtle or not so subtle reactions to what goes on around you, where you live and work and your interactions. All these tell a story and the inconvenient truth around it if there is one, will be brought to the surface with the full supermoon in Gemini and your 6^th (4^th).

Do slow down in the two days before this supermoon appears. It is the third in a sequence of three supermoons and the final full moon of the year. You might also want to check your natal chart for any factors in any house/sign at 13 degrees. Or within a one degree orb. Keep in mind the moon is your partnership planet. And it can highlight and supersize partnership issues as well as those related to your work, studies and wellbeing. Have you been taking yourself for granted, Cappy? Or your body? If you have taken on too much or been fuelling up on energy drinks or highly processed foods, then this supermoon may show you the results of that.

The supermoon opposes the Sun and Venus in your 12^th – of hidden truths and secrets. These include those we keep from ourselves. And these make squares to the North Node in Pisces and your 3^rd and the South Node in Virgo and your 9^th. This creates a Mutable Grand Cross of destiny. Something comes full circle and can go no further. Perhaps those habits or that work/life balance. You are now put in check and asked to stop and possibly reassess those priorities. Or the long term implications of what you do. Do listen to what your body is saying. If it is rest you need, then take it. If that routine no longer supports you, then Mercury clearing retroshade in your 12^th (15^th) opens the way to establish a better one. And bolsters that change in attitude.

Before Mercury leaves Scorpio and your 11^th for Sagittarius and your 12^th, it completes its retro mission for you forming a final Grand Water Trine with ruler Saturn and Jupiter in your 7^th (6^th – 7^th). From your house of community, connections and long term goals and dreams. This closes out a chapter with a goal or a group. Sees you refine and recommit to a vision you now see is within your power to manifest. It can see you reconnect with a former friend. And if you suffer from social anxiety, release you from this. And along with that rapidly reforming fresh attitude, refine that friendship circle to one which supports your authentic being.

With so much planetary energy in your 12^th, you will spend the first half of December decluttering everything from your thought processes to actual stuff that traps the flow of the new entering. You refine your ideas of what you actually need. And release what you don’t. Don’t be surprised if you find yourself telling loved ones you don’t need more things this Christmas but instead want gifts of experiences. Or else if you are after something, it is refined, pristine and enhances your daily life in some way. Less is now the new more. As the planets move through Sagittarius, they will make challenges to ruler Saturn and Neptune (direct from the 10^th), in your 3^rd house. You only want to retain or have what fits or what is right. And you will be able to communicate this clearly and in a way that allows others to understand your change in approach. You don’t need everything. You need the right thing(s).

Your power is now building. Your new outlook takes form as Mars crosses from your 12^th to your sign on the 15^th. You move from sacred preparation to acting. The final new moon of the year in Sagittarius and your 12^th, occurs the day before the Sun enters your sign on Solstice Day. This is the point when you come to fully understand that what you have been engaged in behind the scenes or within you, has deep significance. And its effects now show up in ways that you may have underestimated! Even the smallest shifts or adjustments you have made up until this point, the minor releases of what you no longer want, now gather momentum and the wave breaks, washing in renewal and taking away what no longer supports you.

The Sun appears to stand still in the sky on Solstice Day. Perhaps you see this as simply acknowledging the fact that in this moment, the cosmos does revolve around you and your truth! So, stand tall and own it, Cappy. Your path has now been cleared of what no longer aligns to you. And you step forward into your new cycle free and unencumbered. And step onto your new path with clarity, courage and self-authority. You will be building something momentous or establishing something lasting for yourself next year as ruler Saturn moves into Aries and your 4^th.

After the intense focus on your inner world, Venus releases you back into sweet love and also enhances your look to match that newly minted attitude.
