Eclipse Season Begins

Capricorn, you’ll need all your power and tenacity to make the most of this wild month. August is ablaze with Leo energy, and it’s eclipse season. There’s a solar eclipse in Leo that’s very close to the one we had in 1999; in fact, I’m surprised there isn’t a lot more hoo-ha about it! August 1999 was a destiny-changing event. If you can’t think back that far, then take a look at August 2018. You’re dealing with a host of primal emotions.

Solar Eclipse in Leo

How powerful do you feel? What’s stopping you from reaching your full potential? Is there an issue you need to resolve around life, death, rebirth, sex, obsession, money or shared resources? Whichever area needs a transformation is going to get it. This is more than a lick of paint; the eclipse is rebuilding you from the ground up. In six months, you’ll be astounded by what you’ve achieved and how far you’ve grown. Of course, eclipses have a reputation for being tricky and unpredictable, so make sure you take time to recharge and nurture yourself in the process.

Chiron, the wounded healer, is also going retrograde in Taurus for the first time since 1983. This is hitting your zone of creativity, pleasure, romance and play. Have you forgotten how to enjoy yourself without turning it into another goal to achieve? Old wounds around being seen, expressing yourself or allowing yourself pleasure may come up. You don’t have to earn joy, Capricorn.

The lunar eclipse on the 28th is a whole different enchilada; you’re put on notice that you’ll likely receive a shocking, exciting or wild piece of information. Remember, the eclipse doesn’t reveal everything straight away, so it might take you a little time to figure it out. An idea might also inspire you; it’s time to take yourself seriously and know you’re a skilled communicator.
