Despite Mercury and the Sun’s move into Scorpio and your 5^th, and Neptune’s return to Pisces and your 9^th – fixed and mutable signs, cardinal energy continues to dominate the astral weather front this October. So, your sign, your opposite sign of Capricorn, Libra and Aries will be feeling this the most. Even as we have other planets changing signs. Plus your lunations this month – always important Stop and Go signals, are both in cardinal signs.

Chances are you are starting the month with a goal or ambition you wish to attain. This may be around your career or even home and your private life. And you are looking for ways to ensure you can deliver while not sacrificing one for the other. Mercury in Libra and your 4^th squares Jupiter in your sign (1^st). And then moves on to oppose Chiron in your 10^th. This combined with the full Supermoon in Aries (7^th), asks you tap into those reserves of confidence and your leadership skills and do what you need to in order to reach the outcome you seek. This is more about a concentrated push or effort rather than long term neglect of other important areas, Cancer. So, do see it as harnessing the energy you have available and working with it by channelling it into a specific area or outcome. Then, once you have attained that – you pull it back and direct it elsewhere as needed. Rather than scatter it, or worse – feel guilty.

Venus’ opposition to the True Node now in Pisces (4^th), plus the return of Neptune in here (22^nd), brings you a feeling of time passing and what repeats. And also could well trigger a replay of old regrets, heartbreak and loss or feeling you allowed opportunity to pass you by. See this instead as a way to bring about closure and release. We all have regrets or unanswered ‘What ifs?’ – that is part of our soul journey here. You now come to a point where you can make a conscious choice, sweet Cancer. You can choose to stay fixated on what might have been. Or keep replaying old regrets. Or alternatively, simply look ahead. It’s my firm belief that by the time we arrive at the wash away the pain Grand Water Trine on the 28^th – that’s what you will have chosen to do.

When we remain fixated on the past or on one outcome, what happens then is that our vision narrows. We cannot see the many other options or possibilities which surround us. We get stuck and instead of going in the direction fate has planned for us, resist it. That simply goes against what Jupiter wants for you. Freedom and flexibility. And also understanding that opportunities are not limited to a specific number. In other words – we cannot miss out. We can however go forward with an open mind and willingness to explore new ones when they appear. And not let them pass us by again.
