It’s a month to shed the scary, Aquarius. Negative patterns. Old wounds. Things that continue to influence you long after they happened. The parts of you that you have disowned because others made you feel they were unacceptable. Even old karma. You can step free now thanks to Pluto direct in your 1^st (14^th). Which incidentally is the day a portal of immense potential opens up in the sky for all air signs.

Time to step past heartbreak, those people who have let you down, manipulated you or broken their promises. And when you do, you’ll discover renewal, optimism and even attraction on the other side. October is the month to make that crossing.

Look to escaping the dark end of the relationship street if that’s where you’ve gotten stuck on the 4^th when Venus in your change sector opposes the True Node in Pisces and your 2^nd house. One part of this could be accepting its okay to reach for more – and to expect it for that matter. Especially if you are seeking real emotional connection with someone – but it only ever seems to be about the physical! And that’s okay if you are okay with that. But if you want more – time to acknowledge it and also take the time to discover the other party can give you that before you get physical. The same goes for being too guarded. If you are scared of being hurt so hide behind anything from being excessively extrovert to guarded, then rediscover your trust – in yourself first and then in others, as you cross from one side to the next. It’s safe to do so now.

The 7^th sees you bold enough to address something head on with the full Supermoon in Aries and your 3^rd. This day also sees Mercury, now in your 10^th of rewards, recognition and status, square Pluto in your sign. You’ll be unafraid to lay your cards on the table and ask for what you want now. This may also stir up power issues or make you fall back onto your core values. And that’s a good thing if so, Aquarius. Let others know where you stand. Especially if this is an issue at the core of your value system or even self-identity. Staying strong or drawing a line may test you – especially on the 11^th when Venus opposes old ruler Saturn. But no matter your take-out, the resulting uptick to your self-esteem makes it well worth it.

New rules are in place now especially around romance, attraction, creativity, passion projects and children due to modern day ruler Uranus in Gemini and your 5^th house. Surprises and changes are often how it fuels your evolution and freedom. By now you know anything can and will happen. That portal of potential and possibilities I mentioned at the start of this forecast opens up above you on the 14^th. A Grand Air Trine formed by Venus now in your 9^th, Pluto and Uranus in your 5^th. We also have a Kite and a Mystic Rectangle. The Mystic Rectangle created by the moon in your opposite sign of Leo.

Single and ready to mingle? Watch for someone clever, quick-witted and with a strong creative streak. An ideas person who is constantly curious and on a lifelong learning journey. And yes, smart is most definitely the new sexy. And they appreciate yours too! Seek out new experiences. And don’t get too hung up on the details. This is a time for bold, big picture ideas and actions. Travel may feature for some of you this month with the Sun and then Venus in your 9^th house. The new moon in here on the 21^st is an embarkation point. It squares Jupiter – which rules travel and long distance journeys as well as higher learning and big plans. If you have settled for a smaller love or slice of life experience, you’ll now head towards something bigger.

The month ahead offers opportunities and encounters that may seem placed in your path as if by fate. And if so, this tells you that you have successfully crossed onto the right one! Mercury enters Scorpio and your 10^th on the 6^th and the Sun arrives on the 23^rd. Mercury will retrograde in Sagittarius and your 11^th next month. But for now, you can make inroads towards those ambitions and long term plans. It’s time to rely on your own ideas and inner guidance around these. I would say – choose your influence wisely. Especially around the 24^th when the Sun will square Pluto. By all means listen to others. But ultimately, you are being asked to first consider the source and if they know what they are talking about. And most importantly, to defer to your own judgement.

Stand by what you know is right on the 28^th when a Grand Water Trine forms across your entire money/work/success sectors and your results could exceed your expectations. Mercury now in Sagittarius and your 11^th opposes ruler Uranus in your 5^th. You may even apply the same techniques you’re using to get ahead to relationships. Who or what makes you light up and brightens your world? Surprises may be in store. Or you are hit by an idea which is truly inspired. Keep in mind in your house of attraction, this opposition can bring you something unexpected but needed. Love or opportunity may not look like you thought it would for instance. But does it intrigue, make your heart beat faster or offer up a way to light up? If you can answer ‘Yes’ to just one of those, just go with it and look on the bright side, Aquarius!

In a nutshell: Life’s a breeze – or should be. If you’ve been feeling confined to the shadows or limited in some way, October blows away those blockages or dark, limiting thoughts. Be open to surprises. Or how easy it is to cross from the dark back to the sunny side of the street again.
