Weekly Astrology March 10th 2025 Forecast for All Signs – Eclipse release
ARIES
Take a slower, subtle and more soulful approach
Delay, defer, discontinue – for now
Prepare for a new era – and a fresh direction
The eclipse/retro combo this week adds up to you needing to take a slower, subtle and more soulful approach. Your usual bold, face off reaction won’t work. This is a total lunar eclipse. So, a complete black out. In possibly more than one area of your life. Be aware at all times that each and everyone of us on the planet right now is looking at ending in a key area due to Neptune’s imminent arrival in your sign. This will be a literal ‘watershed’. A slow coming into focus in a key area over many months. After which – we never see things the same way again.
Although the eclipse takes place at 23 Virgo – sign of day jobs, medicine, health matters, studies, habits, routines and domestic pets – the eclipse rules apply to Virgo’s opposite sign of Pisces and your 12th too. For a full Moon eclipse – the Sun is in the sign opposite to the one the Moon is in. So, with Pisces and your 12th being where all those hidden truths and secrets life, you are operating in a total blind spot.
The eclipse opposes Saturn in your 12th and trines Uranus in your 2nd. So, the likelihood is that even if you think you know what’s concealed – it’s something else entirely. This is a case of cosmic misdirection. Don’t fall for it. Best strategy with any eclipse – and yes, this applies to the upcoming one in your sign next month as well, is to simply defer, delay or discontinue anything for now.
Do check your chart for any factors in any house/sign at 23 degrees – or within a one degree orb. So – 22, 23, 24. And avoid decisions or at the very least cool your jets when it comes to anything that house/sign rules in the days immediately before and after the eclipse. One area of your life will shift and if you have felt you have been drifting these past years, you will now feel you are steering it in the direction you want to go.
Because one long term cycle is ending and a new one beginning, if the past reappears, you do need to think through whether or not you want to return to a version of it – or break free completely. March 11 sees Mercury meet retro Venus in your 1st. While the Sun’s meeting with Saturn in your 12th (12th), points to a very definitive stop-and-search-your-soul moment. Mercury also reverses in your 1st the day after the eclipse. Time to search your soul, Aries when it comes to what you should take with you into a new era. And that process itself takes time. Don’t be in a hurry to decide. Or jump to conclusions about anything this week.
In a nutshell: A major eclipse and two retrogrades mean we’re all in a state of misdirection. Even our cosmic compass may be off. Your best tactic this week is to do nothing ahead of a new imagination-igniting cycle ahead. More in your Full Moon in Virgo – Eclipse Edition Moonscope.

TAURUS
Slow is the new rush
Revisit those goals for relevance
Lockdown love reveals the real low-down
Put love on lockdown this week, Taurus. The same goes for the pursuit of pleasure seeking. Mercury meets your ruler Venus in your 12th of hide and seek on the 11th. Plus we have a total lunar eclipse in Virgo and your 5th (14th). Which will trine Uranus in your 1st. What you think you know – well, you simply don’t. And this includes those thoughts about what’s best for you. Or even that lover.
Getting what you thought you wanted – and then finding out you no longer do, is simply one of the cosmic tricks the universe can play on us. The planets then sit back and have a good belly laugh at our expense. Leave new wishes out of it as well as your sector of goals and dreams is also hit by the eclipse. Because full Moons shine their light into the sign opposite to the one they are in – or not during an eclipse, we say the opposite sign (Pisces and your 11th), is equally impacted. By all means revisit old goals. But resist setting fresh ones for now.
All signs need to check their charts for anything at 22, 23 or 24 degrees of any house/sign. But pay close attention if you do have anything in orb in your own sign, Virgo or Pisces. But as a simple rule of thumb under the eclipse, your best strategy is to avoid taking action, decisions or jumping to conclusions in the area the sector of your chart governs if you do. For at least two days before and after the eclipse.
If you can take longer – even better as Mercury reverses in your 12th the day after the eclipse. Friendships and goals, connections and group dynamics, are about to undergo a major pivot or shift. You could find your values no longer align. Or someone is either that friend indeed or shows their shade. Again, this may not be the obvious candidate. The same applies to that lover. A hidden truth may suddenly come into focus. Either river deep, mountain high depths, or love hidden in plain sight – or the opposite. Venus tells you – the bigger picture can and will emerge. And the upcoming new era brings you enchantment and intuitive enhancement. All of which means – you can take your time, Taurus.
In a nutshell: The down-low on love and those goals and dreams may take time to come into focus. While an eclipse in your house of lovers, pleasure and attraction tells you nothing is as it seems. Watch and wait, Taurus. More in your eclipse edition Moonscope.

GEMINI
You have a purpose
Imagination without limits
Don’t judge a change by its cover!
First up – check your Gemini factors for anything at 22, 23, 24 degrees. And also pay special attention to anything within this orb in your fellow mutable signs – Sagittarius, Pisces and Virgo where this week’s total lunar eclipse takes place (14th). If you have any factors in these signs, then they will be directly impacted by the eclipse. So take it you are operating blind. Especially as alongside the Venus retrograde in your 11th, you now have Mercury in full reverse the day after the eclipse (15th).
You most definitely need to set aside decisions around property, living arrangements, family matters, moves, buying, selling, renting or leasing now. And although the eclipse takes place in your 4th, it also impacts on your 10th of career, ambition, public image and status. Again, avoid decisions around your job, career or becoming embroiled in power moves or office politics now. Guard your image and be mindful of it – online and IRL. Don’t clash with people in positions of authority.
If an unexpected change around any of the above occurs – a distinct possibility due to the eclipse’s impact on Saturn in your 10th and Uranus in your 12th, don’t judge it based solely on its immediate impact. It’s one of those moments where blessings could arrive in disguise. Especially if you have ended up stuck, feeling unrecognised or unrewarded or yes, not getting the satisfaction you’re seeking.
Double up on those retro rules. An old contact could be in touch this week. Or has someone been on your mind lately? Use the Mercury/retro Venus conjunction (11th) to reopen the lines of communication. But this is about friendships and even professional connections. That ex may be best left on the beach. All of us are on the brink of a new era. For you, this is going to see you gaining fresh clarity around your place in the grand scheme of things. As well as your path and purpose. You will then step into a brand new and elevated cycle involving your goals and your ability to inspire. Imagine without limits, Gemini. But like anything new, it can take a while to establish itself. In other words, brakes on, mind open. The usual retro tactics – and then some.
In a nutshell: Ruler Mercury is retrograde the day after a powerful eclipse impacts on your home and security sector. Shelf those moving decisions for now. And this applies to your work and career as well. More in the Eclipse Edition of your Full Moon in Virgo Moonscope.

CANCER
Trust in where you are being taken
Solutions arrive in disguise
Stranger tides could wash you up – where you need to be
The tides of change are rippling in your direction this week, Cancer. Although Luna your ruler is eclipsed in an earth sign, there’s a very distinct flowing and watery feel to the energy it unleashes. Be prepared to catch a wave. Although these are stranger tides and you need to know they may not take you in the direction you anticipated. But instead wash you ashore right where you are meant to be!
No matter where you end up, Cancer – you need to understand you are about to leave your comfort zone. The eclipse takes place in your 3rd – of communication and short trips. But that ripple effect touches on Pisces and your 9th. Of wide open spaces, long distance travel, higher learning and the yet-to-be-explored. Are you willing to just surrender and see where this takes you?
Eclipses always mark pivotal events for you. This is because your ruler is always involved. Eclipses cover up and conceal. So take it the destination or outcome isn’t yet clear. It will crystallise or appear on your map over the upcoming weeks however. Which is why an element of trust is necessary.
Do check your chart for factors between 22-24 degrees. In any sign//house. But especially in Virgo and Pisces. And your own as if they are there the upcoming aspects will sextile and trine them. The eclipse also impacts on Saturn in your 9th and Uranus in your 11th. So this is now all about a future path reset. Which opens up your eyes to new possibilities, freedom and growth. With heavy retrograde elements in play – Venus retro in your 10th and Mercury also retrograde the day after the eclipse, take it that if one door closes, even if you can’t see them yet, at least two more will open wide for you in the coming months Wait for the next step to reveal itself, Cancer. Then – put your feet on that path.
In a nutshell: You may feel the pull down a new path or fresh direction. Or is that simply a desire for something all-embracing and bigger? The eclipsed full Moon may not reveal the destination. But trust in the journey. More in your Full Moon in Virgo – Eclipse Edition.

LEO
What needs to be released?
A fresh perspective offers a new interpretation
No more being overshadowed, Leo!
Ahead of you lies an incredible new cycle of solutions, freedom and expansion. When you will be able to harness your intuition, creativity and insights to deliver powerful results. Your experience of what is possible is about to change. Forever. However – before you get there, you need to prepare for stops/starts or even a total compass reset.
The Mercury/retro Venus encounter along with ruler the Sun’s meeting with Saturn in your change sector (12th), awakens you to the need for change. And a yearning for something bigger. You may know where this needs to occur. Or suddenly find yourself looking at something through a very different lens. This new interpretation of either your current or past circumstances, leaves you with your eyes wide open and breathless with revelation.
This week also hands us a powerful eclipse in Virgo and your 2nd. This is a total lunar eclipse. So, a real ‘blind spot’ for you. Possibly around your values and those of another party. Or even something you valued no longer holding that allure for you. Any eclipse involves your ruler – in this case the Earth is between the Sun and the Moon. And the Earth’s shadow causes the eclipse and the ‘blood Moon’ effect. See this as YOUR shadow falling onto something as of course, you are the Sun!
The overshadow effect can be you peering behind an illusion someone else has served. Or suddenly realising you have been quite literally recast in a relationship to some kind of supporting role rather than getting equal billing. Your needs may be been ‘overshadowed’ by the other party or there was another agenda in play you were unaware of.
All signs but especially yours, need to check their charts for factors within one degree of the eclipse which is at 23 Virgo. So, between 22-24 degrees. If you have them, this could indicate where the big reveal is going on. But also – it may not be around who or what you think due to rogue Uranus in the mix. Allow two days either side for clarification.
What’s cleared away under this eclipse and the present retrograde cycle which now includes Mercury retrograde in your 9th (15th), is all part of the solution process for you. It will free up your precious energy and creative life force. Let go of anything that is no longer worthy of your investment. Especially the emotional kind. What or who is will stand out in all its shining glory.
In a nutshell: If something or rather someone has been looming too large lately – and keeping you in the shade, this week’s eclipse will pull the spotlight back in your direction. First you may have to release something. But how you see a situation is about to change. More in your Eclipse Edition Moonscope.

VIRGO
Once upon a time there was light in my life
Now there’s only love in the dark
Nothing I can say
A total eclipse of the heart
Bonnie Tyler. Total Eclipse of the Heart
First up this week, look at your chart for the key 23 degree factors. Especially in your own sign. And within a 1 degree orb. Of your sign and any other. Especially opposite number Pisces and your 7th.
Ruler Mercury – already retro-shady, hits reverse the day after the eclipse in your 8th (15th). The heads-up alert for you is that you are entering a time of transformation and change. Even if you don’t yet know it. However, do watch the days immediately before the eclipse – especially the 11th which has Mercury encounter retro Venus in your 8th. And also the 12th which sees the Sun infuse Saturn in your 7th with illuminating and life-giving truth. Do however sit with any insights at this time. You of all signs know the retro rules. You helped write them.
A total full moon eclipse gives us that ‘Blood’ moon effect. Luna gets a red tinge from the earth’s shadow. Think cycles with this eclipse. Shedding and natural release. Passing from one state so a new one can begin. We are all on the cusp of a new era as Neptune prepares to change signs. This occurs at the end of the month. For you, this will bring about a profound change across the most intimate areas of your life. Especially those which you keep hidden, behind closed doors or on lockdown.
The eclipse will entangle Saturn in your 7th and Uranus in your 5th. To wed or to bed? To put a ring on it or separate? Needless to say – with Venus retrograde as well as your ruler, these kinds of decisions may be taken on a subconscious level. But wait until both the eclipse and retroshadows have passed before acting. This is a total eclipse of the heart to quote Bonnie Tyler. And yes, the heart wants what the heart wants, Virgo. We all get that. Sit with your sovereign truth but hold off on saying or acting for now. Take it there’s more to be revealed and the wheels of destiny are spinning.
In a nutshell: This week’s all-potent, no holds barred eclipse in your sign outs something that you’ve been hiding. Perhaps even from yourself. Your own truth especially if it relates to partners, Virgo. Sit with this for a while and defer those big decisions. Especially now ruler Mercury joins the retro-party. LIBRA
Inaction may be the best thing you can undertake
What no longer works is cleared away
When the time is right – you’ll know it
Have you been on the fence over something lately? What has had you stumped or uncertain about the best way forward for you, Libra? Perhaps you have put off making a decision because you are frightened of making the wrong one for instance? Or maybe you have a conscious desire for change but don’t have a clue where to begin? Especially if more than one area isn’t currently working for you.
Don’t worry, dear Libra. If you are suffering from any of the above symptoms, they are honestly to be expected. So, stop beating yourself up and instead just sit with the energy. Knowing that when the time is right you will know exactly what to do.
Look to those unwritten T&C’s this week. Especially when it comes to giving and receiving. Are there strings attached? Has something become one-sided or expected of you with no reciprocity in return? Look to the 11th – 12th for your checks and balances or to assess if something has become unhealthy or not.
This may or may not be linked to those stuck feelings mentioned above. With your ruler retrograde, there’s confusion and self-doubt plus a feeling of being disconnected from your core essence. The Mercury/retro Venus meeting (11th) hands you insight while the Sun/Saturn conjunction in your 6th (12th), validates them.
You’re on the cusp of a fresh cycle which begins later this month where any remaining confusion will be swept away. But again, hold on to the fact that not knowing is in fact, normal right now as a powerful lunar eclipse in your 12th (14th), can turn up that feeling that something is about to change, but you’ve no clue what or how. Again, sit with this. Do check your chart for any factors in any sign at 22, 23 or 24 degrees. If you have them, then the change is most likely to come from the area the house rules. And yes, that includes within you, Libra.
The day after the eclipse, Mercury reverses in your 7th. Sometimes self-care can simply be the fine art of doing nothing. And being okay with that. Eclipses conceal. Retrogrades slow us down. The ending of a major cycle calls for reflection. That’s what’s really happening, Libra. And during this time, if you don’t know what you want, that’s because you are becoming more attuned to what you do. That simple. And Saturn and karma actually has your back. Play the waiting game.
In a nutshell: Mired in inertia? Unsure of your next move? Don’t see this as inaction, Libra. It merely shows you are perfectly attuned to this week’s eclipse/retro energy. Doing nothing at all may simply be your best strategy. When the time comes – your decision will be easy. More in your eclipse Moonscope.

SCORPIO
This is me
I’m working on (cause I know)
Good love is on the way
John Mayer. Good Love is On The Way
Who’s afraid of the big, bad eclipse? Well, retrograde huff and puff aside (Mercury reverses the day after the eclipse), probably not you, Scorpio. You do need to pay close attention to your work and those habits however. And what is honestly good for you. And what isn’t.
Despite the fact that this eclipse takes place in Virgo and your 11th house, the feel is distinctly free-flowing and watery. First, do check your chart for any Phoenix natal factors at 22-24 degrees. If you have them the Sun/Saturn conjunction that is part of this eclipse, trines them. Uranus in your 7th will oppose them. And the eclipse itself will sextile them. The same goes for anything in the other water signs – Pisces and Cancer. That’s a direct hit in Pisces, a trine and a sextile for Cancer factors.
And although the eclipse energy is impacting on the massive stellium still in your 5th (Sun, Saturn, Neptune and North Node), don’t get smug, Scorpio. The usual eclipse rules along with the retro ones, totally apply. Especially when it comes to romance with Venus retrograde and heading back to your 5th. Time to work on you instead as the song tells you. And to make good choices from this point on.
We are all on the cusp of a new era where at least one area of our lives will change – for keeps. With Neptune poised to move into your 6th of health and wellbeing, and the retro/eclipse energy across your 6th/5th houses, this is all about healthy choices. Especially in love and loving yourself. If there has been a pattern in your past of trying to ‘fix’ someone, codependent or controlling relationships, one sided love or simply bad love choices, you are about to confront that pattern and let it go for good. It will be a conscious choice. In the wake of this eclipse, someone may show you just how easy that choice can be. No more big bad wolf of love at your door.
In a nutshell: Healthy love doesn’t mean boring love. But it does mean loving yourself the way you would another, Scorpio. Outer relationships are merely a reflection of the love we have for ourselves. More in your Full Moon in Virgo Moonscope – Eclipse Edition.

SAGITTARIUS
Make your space your own
Get living
Want to move? Move that energy!
Get to grips with home matters ahead of this week’s major eclipse in Virgo and your 10th. If you would like to move but it’s 1: Not on the cards and 2: You work retrogrades like a boss – then making your current place work for you could be the key to restoring optimism, wellbeing and firing up those engines again. Declutter, rent storage if you need to hang on to that stuff, make the place feel like yours. We can get so hung up on ensuring our home is ‘saleable’ for the future, we can decorate it in a way that is either neutral or reflects a current trend. But actually isn’t us. And then wonder why it doesn’t feel like home.
Both retrograde Venus and Mercury (from the 15th) are heading back into your 4th. So there’s no better time to make your home no place like it. This doesn’t mean moving won’t happen for the future. Just that you are making a no-place-like-it choice to come home to right now.
We are in big, fat mutable weather this week. Yes, Sag – time to check your chart for anything between 22-24 degrees in your sign, and your fellow mutable signs of Gemini, Virgo and Pisces. This week’s intense total lunar eclipse in Virgo (14th) hits Saturn in your 4th as well as the Sun. And could dredge up home, living arrangements, family matters (including family karma), childhood memories and what underpins your physical, material and emotional security. Safety is a key word now. Where or with whom you feel safe and which gives you shelter.
Literally, this may boil down to where you live and how well it’s working for you. Eclipses conceal and along with the Venus and now Mercury retrogrades, actual moves should be avoided at this time if at all possible. Rearranging, repurposing, redecorating – all the ‘re’ words. However, avoid renovating if this involves outside contractors until the retrogrades are over. Keep it DIY.
All of us are poised on the cusp of a major new cycle. For you this will involve lovers, children, creativity, holidays and hobbies, travel, attraction and pleasure. If you feel unanchored or adrift, or simply in the wrong place, make changing rooms your first step. And stop keeping that inner maximalist in the closet. Make your place your own for the time it’s yours.
In a nutshell: Take it there’s a grand design for how or where you are living. Even if you can’t imagine it this week. It could be repurposing your present space brings you the shift you’re seeking. And that feeling of home. There’s more than one way to move, Sag. More in your Eclipse Edition Moonscope.

CAPRICORN
Your soul compass points in a new direction
Destiny defines your path
Seek the facts
Ruler Saturn is all entangled within this week’s eclipse (14th). The eclipse is in Virgo and your 9th. But due to the Sun and Saturn in Pisces and your 3rd house, we have themes of timing, karma, destiny, path and purpose. If something ends then it was meant to. Likewise, if a door opens wide or an opportunity appears, examine it closely. But you have probably earned it.
Do check your chart for any factors between 22-24 degrees. In any sign. We are all preparing for the end of at least one cycle depending on what we have in our charts. And even if you know where this will occur, the eclipse rules tell you that you should avoid decisions around it in the days immediately before and after the eclipse.
You will probably feel the energy change two days out which is when the Sun meets Saturn. But please consider the source with anything you are told or hear now. Especially as this eclipse occurs during intense retrograde weather. Venus is already backwards in Aries and your 4th. Mercury reverses the day after the eclipse. Both planets will return to your 3rd before heading direct again. Both planets will encounter Neptune more then once. All this adds up to things either not being as they seem. Or likely to reverse.
This is not the time to launch that project or plan, apply, pitch, upgrade your devices, buy anything from an electric scooter to a horse or book that holiday. You should avoid signing contracts. And if this cannot be avoided, do read the fine print or get professional (legal) advice.
The eclipse trines Uranus in your 5th. With Venus retrograde you also shouldn’t be swiping right if something long term is your goal. But the surprise news could involve that blast from the past. A good use of this eclipse/retro energy is revising an old project and also time management if at the end of each day you wonder just where it went. There’s more in your Full Moon in Virgo Moonscope – Eclipse Edition.
In a nutshell: Ruler Saturn is ensnared by this week’s eclipse in your 9th. Take it you are poised on the cusp of something big. Destiny sets that compass spinning in a fresh direction. But take it feelings are not facts. You need both going forward. Check your Eclipsed Full Moon in Virgo forecast for more.

AQUARIUS
Get real about that bottom line
Karmic credits get paid out
What you owe and are owed – time for accounting
The eclipse in Virgo (14th) and your 8th wants you to look at your finances, Aquarius. And your core values. Accountability is your key word. And balancing the books. The stellium in Pisces and your 2nd house includes the Sun, cosmic bean counter (and old ruler) Saturn, Neptune and the North Node. The eclipse opposes the Sun and Saturn and also trines ruler Uranus in your 4th. But it is very close to all those Pisces factors. So if money is a ‘sensitive’ subject for you, time to take a more practical and pragmatic approach.
Above all, steer clear of spending – especially those purchases which fill an emotional need. You also have Venus (which rules your bank account) retrograde in your 3rd. And Mercury retrograde the day after the eclipse. You especially need to steer clear of purchasing new devices, appliances, cars or other means of transportation. Unless your present one is broken beyond repair. This also isn’t a good week to speculate or take out a credit card or loan.
Many Aquarians have Pisces chart factors. So check yours for factors between 22-24 degrees. Pluto in your sign is all about embracing your power. And this eclipse wants you to now have power over your resources and assets. Eclipses conceal – keep this in mind. An unexpected expense could appear. Are you set up to handle this? For others, due to Saturn’s eye on the bottom line, a payout or settlement could be on offer. If you receive a windfall what will you do with it? Is it time to invest rather than spend?
Bottom line – it’s time to own your financial reality. The upcoming retrogrades will allow you to get to grips with this. The eclipse may show you just how you work your worth and how you are valued. The real secret hidden within it is that you shouldn’t feel that what you earn, owe or own determines your real value. If you’ve been waiting for financial clarity expect the upcoming new era to hand you that. No matter how it adds up – self worth is a magic number you can work with.
In a nutshell: With intense retro energy, an eclipse and an upcoming planetary shift all impacting your money zones, it’s time to reforge your relationship to your finances, Aquarius. Balance needs and wants. While karmic credits and debts fall due. More in your Full Moon in Virgo – Eclipse Edition.

It’s all in your relatedness – with yourself
Is that a river of dreams – or simply denial, Pisces?!
Your birthday season is coming to a close with you poised on the cusp of two major life cycles. You will feel at your most resonant and reflective. But in looking back at the past, take care that nostalgia doesn’t colour it brighter than what it really was. Or magically erase the not-so-pretty parts of it.
This week has the Sun in your 1st hand you a reality check as it bumps into Saturn. Hold onto that unfiltered image. Love it or loathe it – that’s your lodestone of truth you need to focus on during this week’s powerful eclipse in Virgo and your 7th. What’s remarkable about this eclipse and the new cycle that’s ahead, is their powerful ability to free you from illusion. Despite the fact that of course, eclipses cover up.
We can try to keep the blinders on, but the reality of what’s happening now is that there’s no refuge in denial any longer. And do keep in mind that denial is a river you don’t want to swim in. Especially when it comes to relationships. This includes denying your own needs in favour of meeting another’s. If we do this we can end up feeling we have simply vanished from the equation. And yes, making excuses for someone is a form of denying your needs, Pisces.
The Pisces stellium which includes the Sun, Saturn, ruler Neptune and North Node are all clustered close together. But it is the Sun and Saturn which are directly hit by the eclipse. Along with Uranus in your 3rd. Yes, you absolutely DO need to check your chart for factors between 22-24 degrees. Of your sign and any other. But if you have them in yours, then this eclipse will mark the start of a new Me First – or at least Equal, era of relating.
This can stir up intense feelings. And if you have been keeping the real feels on the down-low, you won’t be able to keep them under wraps any longer. You may also be faced with an unexpected ending. Or having to call that other party to account. With retrograde Venus and Mercury heading back your way, it’s time to relate to yourself in a new way. With all the empathy and understanding you give to others. It’s not selfish, Pisces. It’s you growing into who karma always intended you to be.
In a nutshell: This week’s intense eclipse in your partnership zone hits Saturn in your sign. Handing you a rare gift of seeing something unfiltered and free of illusion. Perhaps showing you that it’s time to put yourself first. Or at least insist on equal billing. More in your Full Moon in Virgo – Eclipse Edition Moonscope.
