What I want you to know is that you’re a different person now and you can handle this, as long as you’re confident and believe in yourself. You can make the most of these shadows from the past. You can get that back with Venus retrograde. It can be a very good thing. We also have Mars, our ruler, in Leo, which I’m already feeling. It’s the best thing that’s happened for months. You have that power back. It is opposing Pluto, so the only problem you may have is that you might have too much fun. Then we have the New Moon in Libra, in your relationship zone. Capricorn, how are you doing? We’re in October, nearly at the end of the year already. Can you believe that? We kick off with Venus going retrograde, bringing opportunities from the past. Networking opportunities, groups you used to mix with, something you put out into the world that was successful, or perhaps an old friend could come calling.

If you need to get out and about, do it. Trust your intuition about which opportunities and invitations to accept. Mars trines Neptune, and you want to get cosy. You want to be around the people who empower you and make you feel good.

You’re not messing around this month. With Mars in your primal zone, the thing to watch is revenge. If you’re angry or feel somebody has wronged you, you may be tempted to go too far. Use that primal energy to empower you, like a phoenix bursting through anything. You can rise above anybody trying to pull you down.

Mars opposes Pluto, and anything threatening your security could bring a strong reaction. Focus on building more abundance and connections. The Sun opposes your ruler, Saturn, and you may ask yourself how much effort you’re putting into work, compared with your family, home and nurturing. How much are you nurturing yourself? These things could come up at the beginning of October, so give them attention before Mercury goes retrograde.

On the 7th, Mercury joins Venus in Scorpio. It’s a great time to socialise and put yourself out there. Mars sextiles Uranus too. You could have a breakthrough about becoming more successful that requires only a tiny tweak.

The New Moon on the 10th is in your success zone. Success is on the agenda this month, whatever that word means to you. You’re breaking through something and should feel happier with what you achieve. The more you nurture yourself and make small changes, the more you support that bigger success. There’s something to leave behind, and I believe giving yourself more time, love and gentleness will help you move forward.

Venus squares Mars, so you may feel you have to fight for what you believe in. Remember your power. You’re filled with it at the moment, and you can use it as a force for good. The Sun sextiles Jupiter, which is very good news, and Mars trines Saturn, helping you lay strong foundations. You could also change your home, move, declutter or do something that makes you feel much more secure where you live.

Pisces, my divine Pisces, we’re in spooky season. It’s October, time for getting cosy with candlelight, snuggling under blankets and doing the romantic things you enjoy. Let’s see if the planets support that.

We kick off with Venus retrograde. It wants you to remember the times you explored things you loved and did something different from your routine. You thought, “Oh, I love this. I’m going to explore it and stretch myself.” Funnily enough, going back to something you love and exploring it in a new way could give you those cosy vibes.

Mars trines your ruler, Neptune, and says, “Right, let’s get secure, create abundance and feel stable in ourselves.” If fears from the past or existential angst come up, notice where your thoughts are taking you. By existential angst, I mean thinking, “What if this happens? What if that happens?” Your thoughts are one of the most powerful things about you.

Turn them towards self-love and positivity for your future. Honour your emotions. If you feel sad, be sad. There’s also so much positivity here that you deserve to enjoy, so give yourself room for that too.

Around the 15th and 16th, the Sun in Libra sextiles your traditional ruler, Jupiter. You’re getting things done, working hard and being diligent. Mars trines Saturn, so what you’re building lasts. You’re building on firm foundations, and hopefully there’s a reward around that time. Fingers crossed.
