The Force is with you in more ways than one. Saturn will arrive in your sign on May 25. It will be the first time in our lifetimes that we have seen both Saturn and Neptune present in Aries at the same time. Fantasy and reality will fuse. Take it this is a time to get real. They will not meet just yet however. This will take place in 2026 after both planets have made one final visit to Pisces.

Recovering from those past wounds. Or illness. Recovering the lost aspects of yourself. Recovering the dreams you discarded. Making repairs to something that may be damaged or broken and giving it new life.

Have you heard of the Japanese art of Kintsugi? The repairing of broken pottery with gold. Instead of trying to hide the fact the object is broken, Kintsugi highlights this. And enclose you in a repair process. Instead of hiding your supposed ‘flaws’, you turn them into features to be highlighted. You become more whole, more integrated and beautifully restored. Accentuate the positive this birthday season, Taurus! Changes are on their way. And while some may catch you by surprise – that doesn’t mean they’re not exactly what you need. Just know that freedom from restriction is what they are designed to bring about.

This will become more and more obvious – especially in the case of late date Taureans, as the month progresses. But for all of you, two areas of life may undergo a transformation now. Whatever you do – do not resist the changes that appear. The first of which could occur on the 2^nd when ruler Venus meets Neptune in your 12^th house.

The American author Mark Twain famously said: I’ve had a lot of worries in my life – most of which never happened. So, part of your process of change may see you consciously choosing to spend less time in your own head. And running through all the possible permutations of what could go wrong. And if you do find yourself backsliding on this, choosing to focus instead of what could potentially go right. Especially if it is the reactions or judgement of others that is preventing you from moving forward.

If you honestly own the fact you are a worrier – then take a step back and look at how often that which you most feared happened. Probably like Twain says – most scenarios never materialised. And if they did, they turned into no bigger or else you successfully navigated your way through them. So, what does this tell you, sweet Taurus? Feel the fear and follow your heart. You so got this. Sometimes just journaling those fears can have the affect of cutting them down to size.

This Venus/Neptune meeting asks that you embrace the need for soul-centered change. It has already happened within you, Taurus. Now, you need to follow through with the actions you know you need to take to bring your outer world into alignment with this. This may mean dragging out into the open wants and needs you’ve been keeping on the down-low. And having the courage to claim them.

Again, if bending yourself out of shape to people please, fit in or simply fear of upsetting the apple cart has occurred at the expense of your authenticity or the freedom to pursue your goals and dreams, the full Moon in your 7^th on the 12^th, which opposes Uranus in your sign, will bring things to a head. Especially if this relates to partnership matters. A move or something which shakes up those carefully constructed foundations in your life. Mars is now direct once again in your 4^th. This month marks the end of the intense retrogrades we’ve all been limited by since last December. Mars clears post-shadow in your 4^th on the 2^nd. Clearing the path to make those changes around home, lifestyle or even your career path. Do look to the 12^th for decision making. And a clear indication of whether or not something is future proof for you.

Ruler Venus ends its retroshadow in your 12^th from the 15^th. You may however, still be dealing with residue from its retrograde. But take it that new beginnings will appear when Venus finally pays your sign a visit from June 6. You will more than make up for lost time then. And this will also have the effect of making you feel that your birthday season has been extended!

If your birthday falls close to the 17^th, expect something to potentially take on a life all of its own. The twist you didn’t see coming as the Sun and Uranus meet. Call this a cosmic intervention by the universe. The following day has Mercury now in your sign (from the 10^th) square Mars. And on the 24^th, it too entangles with Uranus. This may bring up a temporary upsetting of the proverbial apple cart. But take it that by the 24^th you have a solution to hand. And again, keep in mind that anything which occurs this May, is designed for the sole purpose to liberate you from restriction.

The Sun enters your 2^nd from the 20^th. The focus shifts from the wonderful world of you – and on to your income, money, assets and values. The Mercury/Uranus meeting on the 24^th could even signal the arrival of an innovate or new way to increase your worth. While the new Supermoon in Gemini (27^th) is the perfect time to seek that new job, launch that venture, ask for a raise or promotion or yes, have that discussion you’ve been putting off. Which brings me to the month’s biggest and most important aspect. The arrival of Saturn in Aries and your 12^th house (25^th).

First – let’s look at what is being silenced within you, Taurus. Are you engaged in self-repression or self-censorship? Afraid to express your true feelings, wants or needs? This is your house of secrets. And these include the secrets you keep locked within your soul. Again, it links to those themes I touched on earlier. About being afraid to ask for what you want or to seek change. Perhaps out of a fear of what will happen if you do. However, the call to stand by yourself, to be your own soul champion, may override these concerns.

It has been almost 30 years since Saturn last paid this sector of your chart a visit. If you were born with Saturn in Aries, you will be having your Saturn return. As this is your house of the past, you can discover just what this may bring you by looking back to what occurred during 1996-1999. What was set in motion back then, could come full circle.

You will also become aware of the mysterious workings of fate, destiny and karma. And the fact that these are elements none of us can control. Cosmic timing and accountability is Saturn’s over-reach. And as Saturn rules time – it can also say: Time’s up. In terms of receiving rewards but also in this house, the need to let go of anything lived out. Including those worries, Taurus!

Letting go of something worn out may be long overdue. But if something has proved its enduring quality, then take it you will carry it forward with you with fresh appreciation. Meditation, Pilates, Yoga and strength training will help you in more ways than one during this Saturn cycle. Keep in mind you are a soul residing in a human body. Dissatisfaction can also surface during Saturn transit through our 12^th. Do watch for this as it is a form of judgement and self-criticism as it means we are comparing ourselves unfavourably to others. Frustrated ambitions, feeling we have no achieved enough, the loss of dreams – remember what I said at the start of this forecast about your own fears? This isn’t a cycle where dreams have gone to die. But one where new and better ones are born! So, if you feel yourself slipping into dissatisfaction or regret, instead choose to mindfully change that narrative.

Attitude will be everything with both Saturn and Neptune together in your 12^th. The higher, spiritual element that always guides you knows the real truth. And is telling you to begin this cycle by giving yourself the credit you deserve. You are about to draft your very own Declaration or Manifesto of Intention. Or Statement of Sovereignty if you prefer. Where you list your achievements and then – free and uncensored, list what actions your soul is urging you to take from this point on. When it’s done – sign it. Saturn rules self-authorship. And now enact it, Taurus. No more withholding. Especially not from yourself.

You may alternate in the run up to the Sun’s arrival in your sign (20^th) between chrysalis and then social butterfly mode. One day you’re in your cocoon. The next – flying those brilliant colours for all to see. Stay in tune with how you feel in any given moment when it comes to socialising. And don’t feel you have to bow to pressure if you really don’t feel like it. Be truthful with your excuses however. You are entering a powerful cycle where authenticity and being totally upfront about what is happening within you, will become all-important. False faces, false cheer which is just a veneer for your real emotions – you’re so over it. And if others don’t understand – then maybe they just don’t ‘get’ you at all?

First – let’s celebrate the end of personal planet retroshade. Your ruler Mercury left its far behind last month. This month sees Mars clear post-shade in your 3^rd (2^nd) and then Venus escape the shadows in your 11^th (15^th). The superb Venus/Mars alignment of the 22^nd therefore occurs free of retro-factors. By this time, the Sun has reached your sign (20^th), and you will be putting yourself and your ideas ‘out there’ once more. Something transforms that had you confined or was blocking your path to freedom. It may have been weighing on you since the start of the retrograde cycle. You may have been under no illusions it needed to change. But the how to bring it about may have had you stumped. Take it this one can almost be date-stamped. By the 18^th you are past this. Choose your company wisely in this new friendship cycle. Take it Saturn is in karmic sorting hat mode. It will test all connections. But see you envision what real and lush successful living looks like.

You multi-dimensional task as Venus and Neptune meet for the first time in Aries and your 10^th, is to not just reach higher on this day. Mars is your ultimate success planet as it rules Aries and your 10^th. It escapes the retroshade in your money zone from the 2^nd. While Venus leaves post-shadow on the 15^th. Look to the spectacular money and success spinning alignment of both on the 22^nd. A day to make your move with confidence. And capture anything from hearts to that key stage of your success journey.

Lunations are important dates for you. This month’s full Moon is in Scorpio and your fabulizing 5^th (12^th). It opposes Uranus in your 11^th. You may have a new and unexpected development around your love life, a child or a creative project. It’s suddenness may catch you off guard. The Mercury/Mars square of the 18^th may bring up a speed bump. Especially around a friendship or other kind of connection. You may discover you and another no longer share the same values. There may be a parting of the ways. But take it that the 24^th offers exciting social opportunities.

Your secret self is in focus as the Sun leaves your 11^th for your 12^th (20^th). And you are now in the countdown to your birthday season. There’s nothing wrong with ‘me’ time at this end point in your astro year. In fact, slowing down recharges you and prepares you for your next big push out there.

What you want to attain or achieve over the long term – be this a career path, a relationship or something which acts as your foundation or building blocks for your future, needs to be prioritised and taken seriously. It will ask for your all. That extra effort, nurturing and dedication only you can bring.

Keep in mind if you are a single Cancerian seeking your forever snuggle, that not only do you have Jupiter about to enter your sign, turning you into an attraction magnet, but Saturn is in fact your love planet! If you are willing to commit, the two planets combine to place opportunities in your path. Or help you ascend that success ladder more than one rung at a time.

It’s been almost 30 years since Saturn inhabited this sector of your chart. Acting as life coach and mentor. If you are old enough, think back to 1996-1999. What did you begin, establish or commit to back then? How did this impact your status and how others see you? What began then can peak now. If you were born with Saturn in Aries, at some point during the next 2.5 years you will be having your Saturn return. It’s a time for setting out to climb higher. Reaching a goal or plateau. We can all anticipate major changes across more than one area of our lives as a result. And do keep in mind that two of these planets – Jupiter and Uranus, are concerned with freedom. This can take a different form to the one we imagine. Travel can feature but this can also trigger a move onwards from something that restricts us. So, expect endings and releases as part of this process. You can’t ascend to the top if something is weighing you down.

The 27^th brings the final new Moon before your birthday. And it’s a Supermoon! It will conjunct your soul planet Mercury and trine Pluto in your 8^th. Get ready for transformation. A big release and let-go. If you are uncertain what this is about or where this may be happening, by the 30^th you will know for sure. This may stem from your past. There’s a need to maintain the role of observer for the next two weeks. Perhaps in your own life as if you were your own higher guide (and you can take on that role now). Or you may need to do this with someone else rather than becoming directly involved. Holding boundaries is important if you wish to prevent yourself from feeling swamped or overwhelmed. Sometimes the greatest support we can give someone is simply the soul kind. And allow them to sort out their issues for themselves. Seeing as you are stepping into a new era of responsibility and self-authorship – let others taste the same sweet success, Cancer.

Explore a new direction

You are the angel who goes where others fear to tread

From the 2^nd you are back to full glow as Mars exits its retroshade. No more wheel spinning. You are about to make up for any perceived lost time – and then some. Look to the 22^nd as one of the best days of the month for you to gain traction. And attract in opportunities. Especially around love, big dreams and freedom. But ensure you know the difference between escapism and heading in a new, self-determined direction.

Travel, expansion and opportunity beckon. But there has to be a larger, grander purpose behind it. If you were an explorer of old, you might be setting sail into uncharted territory. And if you did, you would bring back riches to trade. Ask yourself now where in the world you want to see, go or experience? And what would you expect this epic adventure to bring you?

But before you chart your course to that next big adventure this May, let’s look at the other retrogrades and post-retros happening. Venus which rules love and money exits its post-shade in your 9^th (15^th). On again/off again, questions around take or toss, shady mixed messages – all get resolved once Venus and Mars are both clear. Added to this is Pluto which turns retrograde in Aquarius and your 7^th from the 4^th. It will not return to Capricorn and your 6^th however. It’s in your 7^th for good. Unlike other planets, Pluto’s influence increases when retroactive. Transformations around partnership matters may pick up the pace. Especially when combined with Mars surging ahead in your sign. You will also experience a quickening around the process of seeing love differently. And this will also includes the things you love – your tastes in music, films, books, art and entertainment.

There may also be a decision ahead for you if in like Bridget Jones, ‘All By Myself’ has become your anthem. Feeling alone, lonely or unsupported – yet you are in a relationship. I’ll go into this in more depth later in this forecast.

Next, let’s talk May lunations. The Moon is your spiritual planet. You and next door sign of Cancer are the most lunar influenced of all the signs. When we have a new Moon appear it is always intertwined with your ruler the Sun. Likewise, a full Moon – which appears in your 4^th on the 12^th, always delivers an emotional peak for you. Because on this day, the Moon is in direct opposition to your ruler.

What comes together for you at a full Moon is important. And anything that is highlighted and which on some level, challenges you or needs to be released or reconciled. Because this involveds your ruler and your spiritual planet, you should be guided by your gut. And look for signs and portents. What did I say about ‘All By Myself’ earlier? Especially if you should not feel this way because you are in a union. Or part of a family network.

Understand your feelings are not to be dismissed at the time of the full Moon (12^th). And if you feel misunderstood or unsupported when this should not be the case, you do need to address this. You have two love planets, Leo. Your love planets are actually Uranus – modern ruler of Aquarius. And it takes two, baby – Saturn. Before the discovery of Uranus, Aquarius co-shared Saturn with the Capricorns next door. So, any aspects which involve either may involve your partner, a potential partner or the status of your union. I will have more to say about Saturn later.

The full Moon opposes Uranus in Taurus and your 10^th house. So, there’s a call out to act in a heart-centered way – but to also not allow it to over-rule what your head is telling you. Your thoughts on something are valid. It may be you need to make a decision around your future. Where you are going to live or work. Or even the future of a relationship if it’s turned into you shouldering the lion’s share. The 17^th has you moving in a fresh direction. While the 18^th could simply see you coming down on your own side for once!

Ruler the Sun moves into your 11^th of friends and the future on the 20^th. And it will sextile Neptune in your 9^th and trine Pluto in your 7^th across the 22^nd – 24^th. Mercury meets Uranus also on the 24^th. This allows you to weed out any areas which continue to show a lack of growth and satisfaction. You’ll be taking a long term view on love and life itself as this is your house of wishes and dreams.

Love in all its many permutations as well as all the magnetism of the Great Attractor is yours to play with and express at the time of the new Supermoon in your 11^th. It’s a day for powerful visualisation and for setting new goals. Channel energy into your social life. Especially if its turned a little lacklustre lately. The Supermoon is trine Pluto and conjunct the Sun and Mercury. It shows you the options that are available for you. More than you think. Life is now set to expand. And what you are about to discover is that structure and commitment will hand you the sense of freedom you are seeking.

Where you didn’t think you’d dare venture – you’ll go there. Ahead of Saturn in your 9^th, Mercury meets wild card Chiron on the 8^th. This may see you pivot or change direction. Or literally go boldly into an area you never imagined you would. The fearless go where angels fear to tread. That’s you, Leo. And yes, potentially more worldly and successful.

Keep in mind there are no short cuts however. Saturn in here can deliver big results. But you need to go the distance. It asks you establish something. Think of it this way – a rocket needs a launch pad. You’ll be asked to engineer yours.

Opportunities can and will appear. But you will need to develop perseverance and patience. This is the long haul. That includes long haul flights in this house. You’re going places. Possibly in more ways than one. If your desire is to break free of restrictions, this will be offered up at some point. But again, you need a clear destination or framework. Mars ends its retroshadow in Leo and your 12^th this month (2^nd). Venus brings sexy back in your 8^th as it too escapes post-shade (15^th). Are you now clear on the support you receive from others? Are you feeling confident when it comes to asking for what you want or discussing your emotional needs? Mercury is very much direct this month. Zooming through your 8^th and 9^th houses and ending the month in Gemini and your 10^th. Expect a month of bold moves, new beginnings and that priceless feeling of there’s nothing you can’t tackle. Which includes laying those cards on the table if you haven’t already done so.

Days to have that talk, conversation, get those applications winging out there, share, upload and unpack those feelings are the 5^th which sees Mercury align with Jupiter for success. It’s important to ask those questions under this full Moon. And not to make assumptions or judge a book by its cover. Even if this involves someone close to you. How they really feel may surprise you. And also show you that often it’s not about us despite what we may think. But again, the only way to know for sure is to ask.

Communicating your emotional state and dishing the tea so you truly know what someone is thinking is going to be the key to openness and strengthening your connection now. The 26^th and 27^th are highlighted for new beginnings, the start of something lasting and you being ready to go ‘all in’ and commit to the long term. I’ve been saving the best until last for you. When ruler Saturn changes signs it’s a very big deal for you. Saturn spends approximately 2.5 years in each sign. So, it returns to the same sign once every 29 years. The last time it was in Aries and your 4^th, was 1996 -1999. If you are old enough, look back at what happened back then. Especially with regards to your family, home, moves, property and anything that creates a foundation in your life.

This is one of those Saturn transits where you did not need to be an adult at the time to see what it may bring. Your 4^th is your roots and family.
